Trip To Paris February 2005

It was cold winter February and I had meeting with my fried in Paris. Friday till Sunday.
I have arrived to the PAris airport 9pm while Niki should arrive from England 10 pm. The airport Charles de Gole

CDG AIRPORT consits of3 airport area and it is quite far between each other.
To get from terminal 2 to temina 3 is not so easy
When i get there i found that the easyjet flight has delay more then 2 hours
Onece we met it was after midnight we took taxi to our hotel. We stayed in the Hilton Paris hotel just ath the Eiffel tower. The way from the airport takes about 35 min and the cost is aprox 50 EUR.
The Holton hotel is large big hotel little old rooms and our room was also a bit cold.
What I enjoyed most was great breakfast at the hotel breakfast room! Really wonderful start of the day.
We went for the sightseeing srating in Eiffel tower. You have to wait in line to get in and it is nothing pleasant in the winter
The restaurant there is full and without reservation you wont get place
But you have to Eiffel Tower while you are in Paris. It is essential.
Then we took taxi to Montmart and had dinner in small local restaurant which remind me book from 18th centrury from Victor Hugo!

Then we moved to Champs-Elysees and after 10 min walk around we end up in some bar right on Champs-Elysees in first floor with great view. Champs-Elysees looks very similar like Wenceslas Square in Prague and thats maybe of the influence of the Czech king and Emperor of Franve the Charles IV.

Sunday morning we walk to the Sunday market near the Hilton hotel situated under bridge and we have walked through all the stands with chees, meat, flowers, baskets, dresses, and many many more.
Then ordered shuttle service to the airport - it is much cheaper then taxi. Again the way takes about half hour
