Trip to Dublin 2003
In Dublin I have been just few hours from Galway between the flights. I cath bus in the Dublins airport to get me to the city centre of Dublin.
I get of on the last stop in the Square of O Connolly road. The centre of Dublin is not like centre of other cities which usually consists of small heart of the city in one peace but in Dublin the centre is really long and you still asking "where is the centre"
I had lunch in large self service restaurant and it was great. Good food, nice staff and all kind of people inside.
Yoyng students, families but also group of old men palying chess, old woman with small car of king old things.
Then i returned to the bus stop which was delayed but i got in time back to the airport.

My Trip to Dublin November 1999
In summer 1999 I was looking for a new job and I ve found a good advertisment concerning quite a good job in Dublin! I didnt hesitate any minute!
I was not too happy at that time and had no reason to stay at home, in Prague.
So Ive managed everything through an Agency very quickly, but for a contract i had to wait for four months.
All my friends told me, dont go there, that Agency cannot be fair, if you are to wait such a long time!
But I didnt say anything and quietly waiting. And on 20th November 1999 I left Prague to Dublin! And that was a really good thing as I have recognized later
I was travelling by bus, which was quite cheap, but I gonna do it never more, cause that journey was too long,
something round 48 hours. oh, Godness! That was really horrible! Never ever more!
Well, when I finally get to Dublin, I went straight to the
Mont Clare Hotel (OCallaghan Hotels) I
should start to work next day. The Hotel was or probably still is, located a few steps from the centre. And near the Hotel there is a beautiful green Oscar Wilde park with plenty of lovely flowers being abloom all the time, even in winter. That was really lovely and amazing!
I spent lots of my free time there,almost every day, having a rest after quite hard bud nice job
(I was working as a house keeper there).
First 3 days my accommodation was arranged straight in the hotel, so i had to start looking for something very quicjky. My mamager Julia tried to help me with that and brought me to some hostel in the centre. When the receptionest took me to the room which was at that moment available, I refused that accommodation when eight tall black guys were just geting out of that room...
Next day I decided to find something by myself.
So I was walking through Dublin all day long with my map and in the rain, and I couldnt find anything acceptable...Few minutes before the Agency arranging accommodation at the hostels was closed, I succeeded to get a contact to a very good price and modern hostel located in the very centre at the Temple Bar Street.
That Hostel was really fine, modern and friendly located in the city centre of Dublin. I have met many friends from all over the world there. At the room I have stayed for a couple of weeks Ive met girls and guys from Australia, New Zealand, USA, Germany and Canada. My ex boyfriend from France i have stayed in Dublin for several weeks with, I have met later, I dont remember where exactely.
Dublin is something like some international community and I like to meet the people from all over the world there very much. I am sure I will come back to Dublin just for few days very soon.
